Huntsman and Romney Tie in First Ballot in Dixville Notch

– January 10, 2012

Residents in the small town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire were the first to cast ballots in the state’s presidential primary election just after midnight on Tuesday.

Results:
Jon Huntsman 2 votes
Mitt Romney 2 votes
Ron Paul 1 vote
Rick Perry 1 vote
Newt Gingrich 1 vote
Barack Obama 3 votes

*According to the Associated Press, the group of 9 registered voters in Dixville Notch comprised three Republicans, two Democrats and four undeclared voters.

Results:
Mitt Romney 5 votes
Ron Paul 4 votes
Jon Huntsman 2 votes
Rick Perry 1 vote
Newt Gingrich 1 vote

Why are there two different results showing? One with Mitt & Jon tied, and one with Mitt winning just ahead of Paul?

It seems the second set of results was for Harts Location, according to other sources anyways.
